Sydney Festival 2010
Sydney Festival 2010 kicks off with soul legend Al Green headlining Festival First Night. This is just the opener for three thrilling weeks of music, dance, family entertainment, theatre and visual arts.
Just some of the acts rolling into town are Hamlet, Giselle and Oedipus (in a number of guises), followed closely by Grizzly Bear and a cast of rogues (including Marianne Faithfull and Tim Robbins) on the Opera House forecourt …Throw in the Festival’s three free massive outdoor concerts at The Domain and you have a summer of spectacular entertainment.Plus, don’t miss the exclusive free outdoor concert at Parramatta Park by AR Rahman, the Oscar-winning composer of Slumdog Millionaire, and a cast of Bollywood dancers and musicians.
